SOUND and MOVING IMAGE Library (SMIL)

The collection includes sound recordings, discographies, scores, films, videos and multimedia CD-ROMs. The primary focus of the sound collection is music, including strengths in 20th century western art music, jazz, folk rock, electroacoustic and world music. Subject coverage of films and videorecordings is diverse but reflects the University's curriculum. Information about specific items in the collection is available by consulting Yorkline, the supplementary finding aids held at the SMIL service desk and from the Subject Guides to Films & Videos page.
